Riano has been an absolute riot lately. I think her goal in life right now is to make other people laugh! The other day we were in the kitchen together, I was doing dishes and Riano was opening all the drawers she could reach and taking everything out of them. Typical day in the life of Riano and I, until she bangs her head on the cabinet behind her and starts laughing hysterically. Of course I found the fact that she was laughing funny so I laughed too. Then what does she do......wait for it.......she bangs her head on the cabinet ON PURPOSE and cracks up. And of course I was like oh no, my daughter has a screw loose! But I couldn't help but laugh! So she just kept doing it!!!!! Then the next day, she seemed to remember the fact that hitting her head and laughing had made me laugh, and proceeded to do it again. My daughter is already killing brain cells, I am hoping that it won't effect her too much! :P That is one of her make you laugh plots. Another one is her fake laugh, out of no where she will laugh, but not a real laugh, she will literally say HA, HA, HA, then wait for your reaction. And when you laugh she will laugh for real, and then do the whole HA, HA, HA thing all over again. It is hysterical. Every once in a while she goes into these fits of laughter and just can't seem to stop. Maybe she is already starting to go crazy. Don't think there is much I can do about it, at least it is fun to watch. :D She also loves looking at things upside down. She is always bending over, putting her head on the floor and looking through her legs. She will even try watching TV like that. Hiroko, Masaki's Mom, was watching her today while I was at work, and she was like you know in Japan if your child does that it means you are going to have another child soon. :P They have soooooo many myths like that here. Although it would be funny if I ended pregnant. I would be like thank you Riano for liking to watch things upside down!
On another note, Masaki and I are going to get new phones tomorrow! We are both getting smart phones, so soon enough I will be able to skype anywhere, anytime! HURRAY! I am super excited! Well I think that is all the news I have right now. :) I have to upload some more pictures and video soon too! :D Maybe tomorrow or next week sometime. Until then!
Just a blog for my family and friends back home so they can keep up with my life in Japan.

Riano being too cool with her Dora the explorer sunglasses! |
Masaki, Riano, and I at the Akron Zoo with Suzy and the kids! |
Riano being super cute on the lion carousel statue. Although she was looking pretty tired, she did get on the real carousel for the first time after this! |
Hurray for the zoo! We got to go twice! Here's Riano and Grandpa, I think they are checking out some monkeys. Riano even took the time to look at the camera for the picture!:P |
Hope you enjoyed the pictures!
